Stories

Adopted Jimin the cat

I was feeling pretty lonely at the time and started casually looking online for a companion. I didn’t expect anything to happen quickly. I was just browsing adoption sites, hoping I’d find the right fit eventually. Then I saw her. I applied that same day and was approved almost immediately. That evening, I went to meet her in person, and it just felt right. There was no long waiting period, no second-guessing — everything lined up so naturally. That Friday, I brought her home. From the moment she walked into my apartment, it felt like things clicked into place. She didn’t just become a pet, she became my companion, my comfort, and a constant presence during a time when I really needed one. Looking back, adopting her wasn’t just about bringing a cat home; it was about choosing connection when I needed it most.
